Earthworks and Enabling Works

We are able to carry out all manner of enabling works for a project along with undertaking all earthworks to any project big or small.

These works can vary from simply setting up site compounds and haul roads around site, to large Cut and Fill operations. Whatever it is our experienced site teams can deliver what is necessary.

Scope or work;

  • Site strip and prepration including removal of vegetation and trees
  • Cut and Fill
  • Removal of hard and soft features
  • Re-engineering works
  • Full site surveys, topos and volumtric calculations
  • Establishment of site compounds, haul roads and pedestrian routes

Foundations and Substructure works

Thamesbridge has experience in undertaking all manner of different foundation installation and can bring all sub-structure works upto oversite slabs if required.

Our operational teams are highly skilled in all types of concrete works enabling us to work fast whilst also maintaining the upmost accuracy and quality.

Scope of work;

  • Mass pour foundations
  • Reinforced concrete ground beams and pile caps (including all pile attendance as required)
  • Pre-cast beams and pile caps
  • Piled raft slab foundations
  • Sheet piling
  • Retaining walls

Slabs etc

Our experienced teams are capable of delivering large scale slab installations as has been demonstrated on numerous project most recently our new primary school build where we delivered a 4500m2 ground bearing slab with concrete upstands to the perimeter for the timber frame installation.

Scope of works;

  • Install of all associated stone fill and working platfrom
  • Small and large scale reinforced raft slabs
  • Multiple finish methods can be utilised including power float finishes
  • Concrete upstands and rebates

Drainage

We undertake all works associated with storm and foul drainage installations.  With our inhouse engineers and experienced supervisors we are able to undertake drainage works down to a depth in excess of 6m safely and efficiently. We also undertake all installations of attenuation tanks, rainwater harvesting tanks and pumping stations meaning we can cover pretty much any eventuality on the vast majority of projects.

Scope of works;

  • All storm and foul installations utilising pipework from 100mm upto 1500mm in diameter. Be it upvc, clay or concrete we have it covered
  • Rainwater harvesting tanks
  • Storm and foul package pumping stations including full scale adopted pumping compounds
  • Soakaway and attenuation tanks big and small
  • All S50 drainage works
  • All manner of drainage channels from threshold drains upto large scale heavy duty ACO installation

Services and Utilities

Thamesbridge operational teams can deal with all onsite service installations and incoming utilities to relevant authority specifications.

Scope of works;

  • Diversion of services
  • Install of all incoming utilities (BT / Electric / Water / Gas)
  • Onsite install of services (As above)
  • Upvc / Concrete / Brick built chambers as required
  • Substation installations to all relevant authority specifications

External Works

As well as all of the traditional groundworks tasks Thamesbridge can undertake all associated soft and hard landscaping works for any project, with specialist finishing teams capable of laying all manner of external finishes. Its the bits that you see that really make the difference to a job.
