Thamesbridge Construction (previously Thamesbridge Groundworks Ltd) started life in June 2005 from its original base in Maidenhead, Berkshire, undertaking small groundworks packages from £25k-£150k within a 25 mile radius of Maidenhead.

From 2008 onwards Thamesbridge built a long and lasting relationship with a main contractor based in Bedfordshire and began to grow steadily to a turnover of around £3m.

Over time, Thamesbridge started to expand its area of operations and also the size of projects it was undertaking as the team grew, undertaking more complex projects and increasing its client base.

In 2017 Sam and Mike joined the team as a QS and contracts manager and began to expand Thamesbridge horizons looking further afield for work and growing the on site teams in different areas of the country.

Eventually after 2-3 years of steady growth in March 2020 Sam and Mike purchased the business and have cemented its position as groundworks subcontractor of choice for a vast array of well known clients.

Turnover has grown steadily to around the £10m mark and Thamesbridge now has the capability to deliver projects ranging in value from £50k up to £3m.

Thamesbridge are always keen to speak with new potential clients and remain focused on delivering projects in the £50k – £3m range whilst ensuring sustainable growth is achieved, without sacrificing on the quality or our delivery or the personal touch the senior management team maintain as a key component to the success of the business.
